CAIRO - 22 November 2023: The Palestinian President's advisor said, in statements to Al-Qahera News, that efforts continue to ensure a complete cessation of the Israeli aggression against Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem, calling for continued work towards a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.
 
An official Egyptian source confirmed on Wednesday, the success of the joint mediation with the United States and the State of Qatar, which resulted in reaching a humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip.
 
In exclusive statements to Al-Qahera News, the source appreciated the efforts made by the sisterly State of Qatar and the United States of America to reach a truce agreement in the Gaza Strip between the Israeli occupation and the Hamas movement, according to the source.
 
The responsible source indicated that Egypt confirms its continued follow-up to the implementation of the humanitarian truce agreement and the exchange of prisoners and detainees, stressing that the timing of the humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip will be announced within 24 hours, which is scheduled to last for four days, subject to extension.
 
The source explained that the humanitarian truce includes the exchange of 50 women and children detained in the Gaza Strip in exchange for the release of a number of women and children detained in Israel.
 
The source revealed that the humanitarian truce in Gaza includes the entry of a large number of humanitarian convoys, aid and fuel to all areas of the Strip.
 
At dawn on Wednesday, the Israeli government and Hamas agreed to a humanitarian truce that will last for four days to allow the release of 50 hostages in Gaza in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinians imprisoned in Israel, and the entry of humanitarian aid into the besieged Strip.
