CAIRO - 20 July 2017: Former Assistant Secretary of State Ambassador Mokhles Qotb asserted on Thursday that Israeli violations at al Aqsa Mosque represented the blatant example for violations of Palestinian human rights.

In press statements, Qotb asked the United Nations to activate its role in protecting the Palestinian citizens and their sanctities.

He pointed out that field action for the High Commissioner for Human Rights on the Palestinian territory would send an important message that the international community is working on protecting Palestinian human rights.

Qotb stressed the important role of High Commissioner for Human Rights in ending Israeli violations against the Palestinian people in al Quds which restrict their right to practise their religious rituals freely
