Abdelfattah Fikry, the Head of the General Union of Workers in Egypt's Railways, announced his participation in a massive labor conference to support President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The conference aimed to convey a message on behalf of the workers in Egypt's railways, the subway, and affiliated companies. The message, titled "Look Around," expresses love, gratitude, and reciprocation, extending appreciation for the transformative moment of the June 30 revolution when Abdel Fattah El-Sisi bravely stood against a terrorist group threatening the nation.

During his speech at the conference, Fikry urged attendees to reflect on neighboring countries in the Arab world that were once lucrative destinations for Egyptian labor, such as Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. Drawing a stark contrast, he highlighted the current situations in these countries, some facing displacement, others living in camps, and some seeking livelihoods in other nations. Fikry emphasized that Egypt, under the wise leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, has been protected and reclaimed from the grasp of menacing terrorist groups.

He urged the audience to consider the strides made in various sectors, including the development of informal settlements, the construction of new cities without burdening the state's finances, and the modernization of transportation with innovations like the monorail, electric trains, and articulated buses. Fikry pointed out the revitalization of the railway sector, which was on the verge of collapse, and acknowledged the modern equipment and advanced railcars introduced under President Sisi's guidance.

Fikry stressed that Egypt, thanks to President Sisi, now stands firm on the global stage, with a formidable and respected army capable of defending the nation along its various borders. He highlighted the challenges faced in the southern borders, the situation between Gaza and Israel in the east, and the developments in Libya to the west.

In addressing the economic challenges, Fikry noted that global economies were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, yet Egypt remained resilient. He credited President Sisi for laying the foundations of the New Republic and called for unity to continue the journey initiated under his leadership. In conclusion, Fikry expressed gratitude for President Sisi's decision to minimize election campaign expenses and allocate all campaign donations to support the Palestinian cause.
