150 convoys of medical aid, food supplies await entry into Rafah Border: Haya Karima director

CAIRO - 19 October 2023: A total of 150 convoys loaded with medical aid and food items, blankets, clothes and shrouds are currently on the other side of Rafah crossing, said Marwa Fakhri, the Executive Director of the developmental initiative "Haya Karima".

 

She explained that the members of the convoy decided to enter a sit-in two days ago in order to allow the entry of aid to our brothers in Gaza, adding: “We prepared the convoy and we have two plans either for relief to enter or to allow part of the convoy to enter.”

 

Palestinian Health Ministry announced that a total of 3,785 killed and 12,495 injured in Gaza since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the strip earlier this month. 

 

Egyptian MPs voiced their criticizm of the silent stance of the international human rights organizations towards the massacres committed by Israel against the civilians in Gaza.  

 

Many parties and politicians have called on referring the crimes carried out by Israeli forces to the International Criminal Court.
