CAIRO - 16 October 2023: Two planes carrying aid shipments for the people of Gaza, provided by the World Food Program, landed at Al-Arish Airport in North Sinai on Sunday.
 
Dr. Raed Abdel Nasser, Secretary-General of the Red Crescent in Al-Arish, announced that each plane carries 32 tons of hospital supplies and will be delivered to the Egyptian Red Crescent. 
 
He pointed out that this brings the number of air shipments received by Al-Arish Airport and received by the Red Crescent to 11 shipments.
 
A plane arrived from Tunisia carrying more than 12 tons of medical and health supplies and baby formula provided by Tunisia to the people of Gaza, and a shipment from the World Food Program and UNICEF carrying more than 9 tons of medical materials and food, and planes carrying aid coming respectively from Jordan, Turkey, the Emirates, and the World Health Organization (WHO).
