President Sisi receives phone calls from leaders of France, Iraq, Jordan

CAIRO – 8 October 2023: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi received Sunday a phone call from King Abdullah II of Jordan to confer over efforts deployed to bring an end to the ongoing escalation between the Palestinians and Israelis.

The two chiefs of state also agreed on intensifying consultations between Egypt and Jordan on concerting efforts to achieve the two-state solution in alignment with the UN security council resolutions.

President Sisi had received Saturday phone calls from French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohamed Shayaa al-Sudani to discuss developments on the Middle Eastern scene.
