General Trade Union of Land Transport calls on President Sisi to run for new term

CAIRO - 19 September 2023: The General Trade Union of Land Transport's (GTULT) called on President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to run for the upcoming presidential elections, to fulfill the aspirations of the Egyptian people.

The union appealed to President Sisi to preserve the achievements that were achieved in Egypt over the past 10 years, in all sectors of the state in general, amid difficult circumstances and great challenges that the Egyptian state has never faced in its contemporary history.

The National Election Authority (NEA) has not yet announced the schedule for the upcoming presidential election, with the process expected to start by the end of this year.
