Sisi visits Beni Suef, talk with villagers as new developmental projects inaugurated

CAIRO - 16 September 2023: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrived in Beni Suef Governorate and met with villagers on Saturday, where he inaugurated a number of developmental projects in the governorate via video conference technology. 

The projects come as part of the Haya Karima ‘Decent Life’ presidential initiative, especially in Suds Al Omaraa village in Beni Suef. 

Thousands of citizens were gathered to receive the president as he arrives to their village. He ran a dialogue with the people of Beni Suef, and volunteers of Haya Karima initiative.

 

Sisi also visited an Egyptian women at her home in response to her invitation, and participated in a luncheon and meets with a number of the people of Beni Suef as part of his visit. 

 

He also offers his condolences to the people of Beni Suef whose relatives died as a result of the hurricane in Libya. 

As part of his visit, President Sisi watches a documentary film about development projects in Upper Egypt, and inaugurated a number of projects in Beni Suef via video conference technology.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi addressed the people of Beni Suef Governorate, saying: “Every time I meet young male and female volunteers and see all the beautiful things they do.. I say that no one, despite the difficult circumstances we are in, will ever stop us from the path we are on to change our lives.” 

Over the past ten years, Beni Suef Governorate has witnessed the implementation of many projects in various fields and areas, transforming the governorate from a population repellent into one of the most important governorates attracting investment in North Upper Egypt.
