CAIRO – 19 July 2017: The Qatar regime has paid millions of dollars to promote the image of the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, according to Qatari opposition leader Khaled Al-Hail via Twitter on Tuesday.

He added that this huge amount of money can pay the debts of 30% of Qatari debtors.
Al-Hail said in a tweet, “Qatar has paid around $285 million dollars to promote the image of Emir Tamim, which is destroyed daily by the anti-regime Shabiha. This amount of money can be used to pay the debts of 30% of Qatari debtors”.

In another tweet, Al-Hail posted a video revealing Qatar’s support for extremists in France and said, “Evil alliance: Qatar and Muslim Brotherhood.”

In early June, several countries, including Egypt, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, severed diplomatic ties with Doha over accusations of Qatar backing terrorist groups.

The countries closed airspace and maritime ports to Qatari transportation.
