National Dialogue's special session on Political Parties Law kicks off

CAIRO – 14 September 2023: A closed specialized session began earlier on September 14 to discuss the "Political Parties Law, mergers and party alliances, financial and administrative governance of political parties, and formation and responsibilities of the Party Affairs Committee."

The session comes as part of the agenda of the Committee on Political Parties pertaining to the dialogue's political axis. This meeting follows the general discussion sessions previously held at the National Training Academy in Sheikh Zayed.

Preparations for this specialized session were observed in the corridors of the National Training Academy in Sheikh Zayed, particularly designated for the National Dialogue sessions.

The political landscape is witnessing extensive discussions and debates, with emphasis on streamlining political parties' operations and their governance. The Committee on Political Parties, under the political axis, has been pivotal in driving these discussions.
