CAIRO – 8 August 2023: The National Post Authority of Egypt and the Jordanian Post Foundation signed a broad agreement to improve electronic postal payment services at the thirty-first session of the Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee.

This landmark accord, signed at the headquarters of the Jordanian Prime Ministry in Amman, underscores the unwavering and continuous cooperation between Egypt and Jordan.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, and Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh, Prime Minister of Jordan.

Among the series of agreements aimed at fortifying bilateral cooperation between the two nations, the accord was signed by Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation on the Egyptian side, and Engineer Maher Abu Al-Samn, Minister of Public Works and Housing and Minister of Transport on the Jordanian side.

Dr. Sherif Farouk, Chairman of the National Post Authority, emphasized that this agreement serves as a testament to the deep-rooted relations between Egypt and Jordan.

It signifies the culmination of joint efforts to support desired forms of collaboration. Dr. Farouk highlighted that the upcoming phase will witness further synergy between the Egyptian and Jordanian postal services, aimed at serving the citizens of both nations.
