President Sisi greets Egyptians, Muslim nation on new Hijri year

CAIRO - 18 July 2023: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday greeted the Egyptian people and the Muslim world on the new Hijri year.

In a post on his social media account, the president wrote: "I greet the Egyptian people and Muslim nation on the occasion of the new Hijri year, praying that it will be a year full of prosperity and progress."

He also wished that "Peace, security and stability would prevail across our beloved Egypt.. Happy new year."
