Terentiev, in statements to MENA Monday, said that political, economic and trade cooperation between the two sides is steadily progressing despite the current challenges.

The diplomat made the remarks on the occasion of Belarus’ National Day, which falls on July 3.

He touched upon similar stances regarding regional and international files, such as climate change, food security, human trafficking, human rights, empowerment and the Palestinian cause.

Egypt, Terentiev added, is the most important trade and economic partner of Belarus in Africa.
