Sisi issues decree reformulating NEA's board

CAIRO – 20 June 2023: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a presidential decree No. 248 for the Year 2023 on reformulating the board of the National Elections Authority (NEA).

The decree included appointing Counselor Walid Hamza, who is vice president of the cassation court, as head of NEA.

President Sisi also decided to appoint Morad Fekry, who is vice president of the State Council, as board member of the NEA.

The decision was published in the Official Gazette on Tuesday.
