Palestinian children inside Israeli jails subjected to different abuses, says Palestinian official

RAMALLAH/DOHA, May 28 (MENA) - Under Secretary of the Palestinian Social Development Ministry Assem Khamis said Sunday that the 170 Palestinian children in Israeli jails, are subjected to different kinds of abuses.

Addressing a regional conference in Doha on preventing serious abuses against the children during armed conflicts, he called for protecting the children from Israeli violations inside jails.

The Palestinian official accused Israel of constantly obstructing the lives of the Palestinians and called for holding Israel responsible for violations against Palestinian children.
