Egypt’s President Sisi congratulates Senegal’s Sall on Independence Day

CAIRO – 6 April 2023: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi sent a cable to his Senegalese counterpart, Macky Sall, on Thursday to congratulate him on Senegal’s Independence Day.

Sisi also sent presidential secretary Mohamed Adel Mokhtar as a delegate to the Embassy of Senegal in Cairo to extend his congratulations on this occasion.

Senegal Independence Day is celebrated by people annually on 4 April to mark the country’s independence from France in 1960 and honor their heroes who fought for independence.
