CAIRO - 1 April 2023: For the third day in a row, the Civil Aviation Authority in Luxor Governorate decided to halt the hot-air balloon flights on Luxor's western mainland on Saturday due to the bad weather and speed winds. 
 
The flights were halted for three days in a row due to the unstable weather, and they will resume after the weather improves. 
 
Luxor Governorate occupies an advanced rank in the classification of countries that operate the hot-air balloon, as it ranks the third worldwide, as all companies operating in the balloon are committed to civil aviation instructions, which maintain the security and safety of the participants by following strict precautionary and preventive measures, including sterilization of all balloons were constantly using heat detectors, disinfectants and masks.
 
Balloon flights are considered one of the most important adventure trips in the world, as Luxor is one of the most famous international cities in this field, due to its warm atmosphere and extensive preparations.
