RAMALLAH - 17 July 2017: Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah expressed Monday his absolute rejection of Israel's pretext to justify its escalation measures at Al Aqsa mosque and imposing more restrictions on the freedom of worship inside it.

The remarks were made by Hamdallah in a phone call with his Jordanian counterpart Hani Al Mulki to discuss the recent developments in Al Quds (East Jerusalem) and the Israeli escalations against Al Aqsa mosque.

These escalations will lead to a deterioration in security conditions and escalation of reactions, Hamdallah said.

Hamdallah urged Israel to stop aggression against the Palestinian people.

Ending the Israeli occupation is the only resolution that can bring peace to the whole region, Hamallah further added.
