CAIRO - 6 March 2023: Representative Tariq Al-Khouli, a member of the House of Representatives for the Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians, and a member of the Presidential Pardon Committee, announced the release of a new batch of 30 persons held in pre-trial detention pending cases not related to violence or terrorism.
 
Al-Khouli said, on his Facebook page, that the Pardon Committee continues its efforts to implement the release of a new group of pretrial detainees, in coordination with the concerned authorities in the state, and after completing the necessary legal procedures, including the release of 30 pretrial detainees in lawsuits that are not related to violence or terrorism.
 
Al-Khouli added that the committee pays tribute and appreciation to the Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Interior for their efforts in this regard, and also extends its thanks to the political and partisan forces that cooperate with the committee and contribute to the success of its work, and confirms that it is continuing its work, and looking forward to more successes in this file.
