CAIRO – 24 December 2022: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi gave directives to the concerned authorities to put an end to unused vehicles that take space on the roads across the country, said the Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Rady in a statement.

He also directed to filter vehicle graveyards in order to sort parts that can be reused or consider them scrap, in integration with the state's efforts to develop roads and urban coordination of the governorates, Rady added.

The meeting followed-up on the state’s efforts to restore the civilized face of neighborhoods and cities, Rady continued.

The meeting with the President was attended by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, Minister of Justice Counselor Omar Marwan, Minister of Finance Mohammed Maait, Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of Local Development Hisham Amena and Director General of the National Service Projects Authority of the Armed Forces Major General Walid Abul-Magd.
