CAIRO – 16 July 2017: Cairo Criminal Court has set August 1 for the trial of 66 people over charges of forming a terrorist cell, which is affiliated to Daesh group and has activities in six governorates.

The case includes 43 defendants who are remanded in custody while the remaining defendants are at large.

The Public Prosecution charges the suspects of joining a banned organization, preventing state institutions from undertaking their role, terrorizing citizens and harming national unity and social peace along with other charges.
