Environment Ministry highlights efforts on cutting greenhouse gas emissions at COP27

SHARM EL SHEIKH, Egypt, Nov 19 (MENA) – The Environment Ministry’s National Solid Waste Management Program took part at an exhibition held on the sidelines of the United Nations climate conference (COP27), currently hosted by Sharm El Sheikh.

The step, taken under the directives of Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad, aims to promote the ministry’s roles on presenting eco-friendly projects to make greater economic sustainable growth with low greenhouse gas emissions.

The program shed light on the ministry’s efforts to cut harmful greenhouse gas emissions and develop plans on facing the negative impacts of the climate changes.
