Pope Tawadros II probes plan to review civil protection measures at churches

CAIRO, Sept 6 (MENA) - Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of the Sea of Saint Mark reviewed a plan on applying civil protection and safety measures at all churches in Egypt.

In statements Tuesday, Spokesman for the Coptic Orthodox Church Father Moussa Ibrahim said a plan was laid down during Pope Tawadros II's meeting with members of his technical office for reviewing civil protection and safety guidelines that churches across the country should adhere to.

Also follow-up mechanisms to check on all churches' abidance by safety measures have been set into motion, the spokesman added.
