Sisi assigns Amr Adel Ali to carry out duties of head of the Administrative Control Authority

CAIRO – 30 August 2022: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, assigned, on Tuesday, Amr Adel Ali Hosni, to carry out the duties of the head of the Administrative Control Authority, according to Presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady.

President Sisi issued another decision appointing Major General Hassan Abdel Shafi - former head of the Administrative Control Authority – to be advisor to the President.

Earlier on Tuesday, Sisi issued Decree No. 394 of 2022, appointing Counselor Adly Abdel Fattah Gad Zayed, as head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, as of September 1, 2022, succeeding Counselor Ezzat Abu Zaid.

President Sisi also issued Decree No. 395 of 2022 granting Counselor Ezzat Abu Zeid the Order of the Republic, first class.

Counselor Adly Abdel Fattah, was born on April 4, 1952. He holds a Bachelor of Law from the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University.

He joined the administrative prosecution in 1976 and moved gradually in its various judicial positions, where he worked in several administrative prosecutions, including the Benha, Alexandria, Tanta, and Shubra El-Kheima prosecution.

Counselor Adly Abdel Fattah also worked in the Department of Disciplinary Cases in Cairo, the Technical Office in Shubra El-Kheima, and finally as Director of the Technical Office in Benha and a member of the Supreme Council of Administrative Prosecution, until the announcing appointing him as head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority.
