Egypt to declare ceasefire agreement between Israel, Jihad Movement in few hours: sources to Extra News

CAIRO - 7 August 2022: Egypt will announce a ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian Jihadi Movement this afternoon, sources told Extra News.

The ceasefire will come into effect at 8 pm (GMT), the sources added.

Israel has stricken Gaza Strip for three days, targeting the members of the Palestinian Jihadi Movement.

The attacks resulted in killing 32 people, including six children, and injuring 215 others, including 96 children, 30 women and 12 elderly people, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

Egypt plays a positive role in solving the situation in Gaza by contacting the Palestinian and Israeli sides, said President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in his speech during an inspection tour of the Military on Saturday.
