CAIRO- 7July 2022: The National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG) said on Thursday that Greater Bairam (Eidul Adha) prayers will be held at 5:26 a.m. in Cairo and Giza.
In Alexandria and Beni Suef, the prayers are set to take place at 5:28 a.m., NRIAG said in a statement.
Based on astronomical calculations, the Eid prayers will first be held in the cities of Taba and Arish at 5:13 a.m., the statement said.
Residents of the west border city of Salloum will be last to perform the prayers at 5:47 a.m., the statement added.
