Prosecution orders jailing Toukh special-needs-child harassers 4 days pending investigations

CAIRO – 20 May 2022: Egypt’s Public Prosecution ordered the imprisonment of attackers of a disabled boy in Toukh city in Qalyubia Governorate for four days pending investigations.

According to the statement the detainees are accused of harassing the child, bullying him, and shooting a footage of him to mock him on social media.

Egypt’s Public Prosecution ordered; Wednesday arresting number of young men accused of harassing a special-needs-boy [differently-abled] in Toukh city, Qalyubia Governorate.

It was added that the arresting order came after spotting a circulated video for the incident on the social media along with receiving a complaint from the Ministry of Solidarity about the incident.
