CAIRO – 24 March 2022: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi held a visit early on Thursday to the Police Academy, where he was received by Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfik and senior officials of the establishment.

The presidency's press statement indicates that the chief of state witnessed the lining of freshmen male and female students, congratulating them on joining the academy.

President Sisi had later listened to a presentation on the electronic student assessment system, before heading to the fitness and martial arts zones to see the students exercising.

The president also watched the swimming exercises as well as training on storming criminal hideouts, tactical combat, and shooting. That was followed by a visit to the horseriding club affiliated to the academy.

The conclusion was by holding a dialogue with the students on the most prominent issues and developments on the international scene, and their repercussions on the Egyptian economy and the state's efforts to contain them. The talk also tackled internal affairs, and the state institutions' efforts embodied in a series of mega national projects.

Finally, the president headed to the area students and their families meet thanking the parents for supporting their children to join the police, asserting that they are being prepared to defend the security of Egypt along with their honorable peers at the Egyptian Armed Forces.
