KIEV, March 8 (MENA) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree on recalling Ukrainian peacekeepers from across the world, along with their weapons and hardware, to strengthen the Ukrainian Army in repelling Russian aggression.

The decree was published by Deputy Head of the President’s Office Andriy Sybiha on Facebook, Ukrinform reported.

"President of Ukraine V. Zelensky has decided to recall Ukrainian peacekeepers, highly professional soldiers, from all missions around the world, along with their hardware, to strengthen our Army now in response to Russian aggression," Sybiha said.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a large-scale military operation in Ukraine.
