CAIRO- 26 February 2022:  Under the slogan “Youth of Climate Summit,” Youth Love Egypt (YLE) Foundation participated in the 89th Spring Flowers Exhibition, the largest and oldest annual exhibition in the Arab region, at the Orman Botanical Garden in Giza with a pavilion allocated by the Ministry of Agriculture.
 
The pavilion has been renewed to participate in the exhibition after the YLE had participated in the Arab Week for Sustainable Development and the Cairo International Book Fair.
 
The pavilion shed light on raising awareness among visitors of the COP 27 summit that will be held at the end of this year in Sharm El-Sheikh. The YLE is working on disseminating awareness of preserving the environment and carrying out activities to mitigate climate change impacts. 
 
In addition to this, the YLE exhibits a wide range of handicrafts that express the Egyptian heritage from the governorates of Halayeb, Shalateen, Nubia, Aswan, Siwa, the New Valley and North and South Sinai, with the aim of supporting traditional and handicrafts and encouraging women breadwinners.

The YLE’s participation, which has started in 2014, is part of the societal role in leading civil society towards the Climate Summit and making it known.
 
The Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Al-Sayyed El Kisser, the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, and  Governor of Giza Major General Ahmed Rashid inaugurated the Exhibition at the Orman Botanical Garden in Giza on Saturday, with the participation of more than 240 exhibitors, amid coronavirus precautionary measures to maintain the safety and security of visitors.
 
At the exhibition, temperature measurement devices are available access without wearing masks are prohibited, with the constantly disinfecting and sterilizing the exhibition pavilions.
 
The exhibition includes an indoor section for ornamental plants, an external section for ornamental plants, a section for cactus, a section for green spaces, and a section for production supplies, in which the Giza Hygiene and Cosmetic Authority participates. 
 
The exhibition opens its doors for the public daily from 9 am to 10 pm. It will last until March 31 in Orman garden, which was established in 1875 and covers an area of 28 acres to include a rare group of trees and palms and more than 1,200 different plants.
