Parliament approves amendments to Egypt’s General Intelligence Law

CAIRO - 23 February 2022: The House of Representatives, headed by Counselor Hanafi Jabali, Speaker of Parliament, approved Wednesday a report submitted by the Defense and National Security Committee on amending some provisions of the General Intelligence Law.

 

The approval of the Council came after the unanimous approval of the Council and representatives of parliamentary bodies on the draft law.
