Russia, Egypt to hold joint exercise

MOSCOW- 11 July 2017: Representatives of the Russian Airborne troops and the Airborne troops of the Armed Forces of Egypt will hold a number of consultations on planning Russian-Egyptian tactical exercise in the third quarter of 2017 at the territory of the Russian Federation, said the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is planned to coordinate the time period, procedures and conditions as well as to conduct a reconnaissance of the area for planning exercise during negotiations.

The first consultations between Egyptian military experts and Russian Airborne servicemen will be held at the Russian Airborne range in the Krasnodar Krai.

Egypt's military delegation will be welcomed at a base of one of the Airborne military units in accordance with the International Activities Plan of the Russian Defense Ministry.
