CAIRO - 11 January 2022: The organization of the World Youth Forum in Sharm El Sheikh proves that the State is able to handle the coronavirus pandemic by following all precautionary measures, Presidential Adviser for Health Affairs Awad Tag Eddin said.

"Egypt has managed to minimize the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic under the current political leadership," Tag Eddin added during a phone call with "Al Oula" satellite TV channel on Monday evening.

Thanks to the country's professional handling of the crisis, the pandemic did not affect the production process in Egypt, he noted.

The State has made all types of Covid-19 vaccines available for citizens, Tag Eddin said, noting the national epidemic situation is totally under control.

He revealed that Egypt had obtained a permit from a global company to produce anti-covid pills that will help reduce severity in mild cases and minimize the risk of hospitalization and death.
