Egyptian Amb. in Juba, South Sudan FM talk strengthening joint cooperation

CAIRO - 8 December 2021: Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of South Sudan, Mayek Aye Deng, received the Egyptian Ambassador in Juba, Moataz Mustafa Abdel Qader, on Wednesday, where they both discussed ways to boost bilateral cooperation, as well as the continuation of coordination and political consultation on various regional and continental issues. 
 
 
 
The South Sudanese minister also expressed appreciation and thanks to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the Egyptian government for the support and assistance provided by Egypt to South Sudan, praising the momentum witnessed in the bilateral relations between the two countries at this stage.
 
 
 
For his part, the Egyptian ambassador stressed the existing close cooperation between the two countries and the recent high-level visits, which confirm the common desire to advance and develop bilateral relations between Egypt and South Sudan to broader horizons, and allow optimal employment of all economic and investment opportunities available in the two countries. It reflects the close brotherly relations between the President of the Republic and his brother, President Salva Kiir, as well as the close relations between the two brotherly peoples.
