Foreign guests flock to visit National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

CAIRO - 5 December 2021: Foreign guests flocked to visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Cairo’s Fustat neighborhood over the past week to watch unique artifacts, especially the royal mummies that were transferred to the museum in April in a breathtaking parade.


The museum received delegations of more than 42 participating countries in Egypt Defence Expo - EDEX 2021.

Also, the African delegation who is taking part in the second session of the Egyptian-African Center for Training visited the museum last week.

The guests were welcomed by executive president of the museum Ahmed Ghonaim who was keen to give them a brief on the museum's priceless collection.

Then the guests toured the main display hall and the royal mummies hall.

They expressed administration at the numerous unique objects they saw.
