Saif al-Islam Gaddafi celebrates returning to presidential race via court order

CAIRO - 2 December 2021: Libyan presidential candidate Saif al-Islam Gaddafi celebrated Sabha Court of Cassation's Thursday acceptance of his challenge against excluding him from the race.

 

The son of slain President Muammar Gaddafi posted a Quranic verse on Twitter to express his steadfastness. 

 

The elections will be held on Dec. 24 with dozens of candidates running for the presidency of the country. December will also witness aprliamentary elections. 

 

Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar was also excluded by a court.
