CAIRO - 13 November 2021: Egyptian Minister of Environment Yassmine Fouad met with her Swedish counterpart Per Bolund, who congratulated her for Egypt’s hosting the next COP 27 summit in November 2022.
 
The meeting was held on the sidelines of Glasgow-held COP16 summit. The Swedish Minister wished more success for Egypt in the upcoming Cop27 conference to support climate action, said the Egyptian Ministry of Environment in a statement on. Saturday.
 
The meeting tackled ways to support cooperation between the two countries. The two parties agreed to discuss these ways through exchanging visits between Egypt and Sweden during the coming period.
 
Meanwhile, the Egyptian Minister also met with German Federal Minister for the Environment Svenja Schulze on Saturday at Glasgow.

Schulze invited Fouad to participate in the climate Dialogue. The Egyptian Minister said that political process of the climate negotiations is a very important as the world in the need of re-communication between ministers and climate negotiators in developing and developed countries.
