Egypt's Mufti: We are in dire need for civilized management of family disputes

CAIRO - 6 February 2021: Egypt's Mufti Shawki Allam in statements on Saturday, stressed the need for civilized management of family disputes.

Allam said only wise families can contain disputes, noting that no one can be solely responsible for the escalation of marital disputes.

He stressed that family violence contradicts the principles of Islam which calls for love, mercy and forgiveness as well as strengthening family bonds.
