CAIRO – 18 August 2021: Sharm El Sheikh International Airport received for the first time an Armenia Airways flight carrying 124 passengers.
On August 9, the airport received a flight coming from Moscow for the first time since a ban on direct Russian flights to the Egyptian Red Sea cities was imposed six years ago.
The plane carried 517 Russian passengers from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport. It is the third to visit the Red Sea resorts on this day.
It is noted that all passengers landing in Egyptian airports undergo the ID Now COVID-19 test.
