‘Made in Egypt’ Expo continues in South Sudan as part of bilateral cooperation

CAIRO – 15 July 2021: Egypt continues the activities of the “Made in Egypt” exhibition organized in Juba, South Sudan as part of the country’s cooperation with all African countries.

 

South Sudan President Salva Kiir received Thursday at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Juba, Nevine Gamea, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Dr. Ali El Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, as part of a high-level Egyptian delegation's visit to South Sudan to participate in the exhibition.

 

The Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea indicated that President Salva Kiir expressed his keenness to develop the current cooperation between the officials of the two countries, and to work together to strengthen these relations in various fields with the aim of achieving the well-being and prosperity of the two peoples.

 

The minister added that the meeting reviewed the importance of strengthening the integrated strategic partnership between the two countries in various fields, which was agreed upon during President El-Sisi's visit to the capital, Juba, last November, emphasizing the Egyptian state's keenness to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries at various levels, and seek to advance.

 

She further added that the first branch of the National Bank of Egypt in South Sudan is currently being completed, and will be inaugurated next September, as it will have a major role in promoting trade between the two countries.
