AL Committee of Organizations for Coordination to kick off Monday

CAIRO - 8 July 2017: The meetings of the 26th round of Committee of Organizations for Coordination and Follow-up of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League will be held during the period 10-14 July at the General Secretariat of the Arab League headquarters.

All Arab countries and specialized organizations along with the secretariat General will participate in these meetings.

The Director of the organization's administration and the Arab federations of the Arab League, Mohamed Khair Abdel Kader stated that meetings will discuss periodical issues related to the reports of the achievements of Arab organizations, final accounts and the financial and administrative monitoring bodies of the Arab organizations along with the reports of the subcommittees.

Meetings will include studying the amendment of agreements establishing these organizations in accordance with the unified regulations of the specialized Arab organizations and the Arab Economic and Social Council Arab joint, Abdel Kader added.


He further added that examining organizational structures of some Arab organizations and development of some of their own resources will be also included in the meetings.

Signing memorandum for cooperation between some specialized Arab organizations is expected.

Meetings of this session will refer its recommendations for the next session of the Economic and Social Council scheduled for the last week of August.
