Court fines vet 10K over taking indecent pictures of Actress Zeinab Gharib

CAIRO – 7 July 2021: The Qasr El-Nil Misdemeanor Court fined a veterinarian L.E. 10,000, over charges of sexually harassing Actress Zeinab Gharib, and taking indecent pictures of her.

Gharib exposed a veterinarian in May, in a video she streamed on her Instagram account, where she revealed that she was subject to a harassment incident when a man was stalking her in a dark street and she turned around to find him picturing her from behind.

Gharib announced that she has filed a legal case to preserve her rights, and educate ladies not to be silent. 

The accused, who is a veterinarian, was arrested and referred to prosecution, where his phone was confiscated and three pictures of Gharib was found.
