This suggests that those visitors will not have to provide a PCR test certificate.

These conditions include words not being struck through or added, the presence of a QR code and will only be accepted after its place of issuance is verified.

After that, visitors from the affected countries will undergo the ID Now COVID-19 test and, if tested positive, will undergo a PCR test once arriving.

If the PCR shows positive results, those visitors will be transferred to a hospital.

Passengers coming from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Myanmar, Nepal, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Brazil and Latin America countries are all included.

Vaccination certificates will be accepted from those who received a vaccine that is approved by the World Health Organization and the Egyptian Drug Authority.

Certificates have to be submitted at least 14 days from receiving the second dose of the vaccines that require two shots, including Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Sinopharm, Sinovac and Sputnik V or 14 days from receiving the first dose of Johnson & Johnson.
