CAIRO – 9 June 2021: The Public Prosecution ordered Tuesday appealing the Criminal Court's ruling of the innocence of Haitham Kamel Abou Ali.

The sentence was issued on May 10 as Abou Ali was being prosecuted for possessing a consumption quantity of hash, and unintentionally killing a woman while driving wrong-way recklessly under influence.

That is by ploughing into a cab she was riding in on the road extending between Hurghada and Al Gouna in the Red Sea governorate.

Haitham is the son of famous businessman Kamel Abou Ali, who owns several resorts in the same governorate.
