CAIRO – 7 July 2017: Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Cairo Arman Isagaliev met on Friday with Assistant Foreign Minister for International Organizations Affairs Hisham Badr and discussed boosting relations and cooperation between both countries.

The embassy of Kazakhstan said in a statement, both sides discussed Egypt's participation in the first summit on science and technology that will be held on September 10 and 11 in the capital of Kazakhstan Astana.

The meeting tackled means to ratify the constitution of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on food security as soon as possible, the statement explained.

Badr praised Kazakhstan's activities during its non-permanent membership of the Security Council and its active role in the OIC, as well as the initiatives put forward by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in the nuclear disarmament issue.
