CAIRO – 20 May 2021: Al-Arish General Hospital received 8 wounded people coming from the Palestinian territories through the Rafah Crossing Wednesday night.

 

A medical team received the injured and conducted necessary medical examinations on them.

 

The injuries varied between fractures, broken legs, shrapnel and foot amputation.  

 

Al-Arish General Hospital had started receiving the wounded last Sunday afternoon.

 

The Egyptian authorities kept on Wednesday the Rafah border crossing with the Gaza Strip execeptionally opened for the 4th day to receive the wounded Palestinians and to extend aid upon directives of the political leadership.

 

Egypt announced on May 17, allocating a total of 165 ambulances and 11 hospitals for the treatment of the Palestinians injured due to the Israeli aggression on Gaza, which claimed the lives of dozens of Palestinians.

 

Health Minister Hala Zayed reviewed with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly the state's plan to transfer and support the injured Palestinians coming from Gaza, amid the week-long aggression on the strip.
