Power lines feeding Gaza disrupted due to Israel’s continued bombings

CAIRO – 18 May 2021: A group of transmission power lines supplying Gaza have been disrupted due to continued bombing operations by Israeli warplanes against the strip, according to WAFA news agency.

The shelling caused widespread blackouts, while the electricity company said that severe damages were caused to the electricity transformer feeding the central Al-Safa wells

Israel fired at least three missiles on al-Ansar area west Gaza City, which hosts lots of government and residential buildings as well as schools and universities.

The Israeli army stated that they have embarked on targeting al-Rimal neighbourhood in Gaza.
