Palestinian amb. slams Israel's racist practices

CAIRO - 6 July 2017 : Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Jamal al Shubaki condemned on Thursday Israel's racist practices in the Palestinian territories.

Addressing the ninth session of the Arab Water Ministerial Council, which kicked off here earlier in the day, Shubaki accused Israel of adopting a racial segregation policy in all aspects of life, including water.

He described the water situation in the Gaza Strip as 'catastrophic,' warning that the coastal enclave will be non-viable by 2020.

He also urged world countries to provide necessary funds to establish a water desalination station in the Gaza Strip.
