PM, agriculture minister discuss poultry projects nationwide

CAIRO - 6 July 2017: Prime Minister Sherif Ismail held on Thursday a meeting with Agriculture Minister Abdel Monem el Banna, during which they discussed expansion in poultry projects nationwide.

This comes as part of the government's efforts to meet local market's needs of poultry meat, Ismail said.

He also urged setting out a timetable to ensure the finalization of these projects as soon as possible.

The meeting also tackled expansion in establishing slaughterhouses, and measures taken to improve water quality in Lake Manzala.
