Cabinet convenes to discuss a number issues

CAIRO - 5 July 2017: The cabinet held a meeting on Wednesday under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail to discuss a number of economic, political, social and security files along with reviewing a number of reports on the quality of services presented to citizens.

The cabinet also discussed a number of draft laws and ministerial decisions that would introduce a progress at various levels, achieve social and economic stability, encourage investments and monitor price hikes in markets.

The ministers also discussed a number of ministerial measures that were taken upon directives of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi to counter inflation, activate the role of monitoring bodies and reduce the impact of economic reform measures on low-income people and the most needy categories.

The cabinet also reviewed the results of removing transgression on state lands and the measures that should be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.
